Made this for my husband for our first Valentine's day together and was served every year after that.

Ingredients

1-10 Oz. bag(s)
frozen strawberries, thawed
1/4 c
granulated sugar
1 pinch
course salt
2 1/2 c
cold heavy cream
1/3 c
confectioners' sugar
4 tsp
fresh lemon juice

Step-By-Step

1In a blender, combine strawberries, granulated sugar, and pinch of salt and puree until sugar dissolves, about 1 minute.
2In a large bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream and confectioners' sugar on high until stiff peaks form, about 3 minutes. Fold in lemon juice.
3In six small glasses, alternate layers of strawberry puree and whipped cream. With a thin-bladed knife, gently swirl whipped cream and puree together. Smooth tops and serve immediately
