Cran-Apple Sauce

I love cranberries and I love apples and my favorite season is fall, this brings the three together in a lovely and simple way. I hope some of you try it and enjoy it.

Ingredients

6 large
fuji apples (or your favorite apple), peeled and diced
1 pkg
fresh cranberries
1 c
granulated sugar
1 c
craisins
1/2 c
water

Step-By-Step

1Put everything together in a saucepan, EXCEPT THE CRAISINS, and bring to a boil over hi heat, while stirring.
2Reduce heat and simmer until cranberries pop open and mixture starts to thicken (12-16 min)
3Remove from heat and stir in Craisins. Cool.
4Once cooled, cover and chill in refrigerator until ready to serve.
