This is something that I like to make every time we go camping. Not only does it fulfill cravings for cookies, but it provides you with a boost of energy which is perfect for camping or hiking.

Ingredients

2 1/2 c
oats
1 c
whole wheat flour
1 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
cinnamon
pinch
salt
2 stick
butter
1 c
granulated sugar
1 c
brown sugar
2 tsp
vanilla
2
eggs
3/4 c
peanut pieces
3/4 c
raisins
3/4 c
m & ms
3/4 c
shredded coconut

Step-By-Step

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

2Heat butter in microwave for 3-5 minutes, or until it browns.

3In a bowl, mix oats, all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

4In another bowl, cream the browned butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the eggs, & the vanilla extract.

5Slowly add in the flour mixture and stir until combined. Add the m&m's, coconut, peanuts, and raisins. Be sure to evenly incorporate everything or you'll have some cookies without all of the components.

6Roll cookie dough into a ball, place on cookie sheet, and flatten with your fingertips.

7Bake 11-14 minutes or until they're lightly golden.
