The best brownie, but directions must be followed exactly. It's a cross between a fudgie and a cake brownie. The best of both worlds. If ingredients are measured carefully , the brownies will be incredible.

Ingredients

8 oz
unsweetened chocolate squares
1 c
butter
5
eggs
3 c
sugar
1 Tbsp
vanilla
1 1/2 c
flour
1 tsp
salt
2 1/2 c
chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted

Step-By-Step

1Melt chocolate and butter, over low heat, stirring frequently. Set aside.
2In a mixer beat eggs, sugar and vanilla at high speed for 10 minutes. Mixture will be thick and pale yellow.
Blend in chocolate mixture. Fold in flour and salt until just mixed.
Stir in the nuts.
3Pout into a lightly greased and floured 9 X 13 inch pan.
4Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. (Don't over bake).
Cool and frost with a chocolate icing, if desired.
Brownies should be moist in the center.
