1/2 cpowdered sugar

1 cbutter, softened

2 tspvanilla

1 cfinely chopped or ground almonds or pecans

How To Make swedish tea cakes

1Heat oven to 325. In large bowl, beat 1/2 cup powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla until light and fluffy. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Add flour, almonds, and salt; mix dough holds together.

2Shape into one inch balls. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes or until set but not brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets. Cool slightly; roll in powdered sugar. Cool completely; roll again in powdered sugar.
