Ingredients For salted nut bars

3 call purpose flour

1 1/2 cfirmly packed brown sugar

1 cbutter, softened

1 tspsalt

1/2 ccorn syrup
-
2 Tbspbutter
-
1 Tbspwater
-
1 cbutterscotch chips
-
2 cmixed nuts or cocktail peanuts
How To Make salted nut bars

1Heat oven to 350. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, 1 cup butter, and salt; blend well. Press in ungreased 15x10 inch jelly roll pan or two 9 inch squares pans.

2Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. In small saucepan, combine corn syrup, 2 tablespoons butter, water, and butterscotch chips; boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Sprinkle nuts over partially baked crust. Pour cooked mixture over nuts.

3Return to oven and bake an additional 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
