One of our oldest family Christmas cookie recipes.

Ingredients For peanut butter cookies

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c
    peanut butter
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/4 c
    orange juice

How To Make peanut butter cookies

    Stir dry ingredients together and set aside.
  • 2
    Cream butter and sugars in large bowl. Add egg and vanilla.

    Alternate dry ingredients with orange juice and mix well.

    Roll into balls and flatten with fork, making criss-cross pattern.

    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 375.
