  • 3/4 c
    peanut butter
  • 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/3 c
    packed light brown sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • sugar

    hershey's kisses 9 once package, unwrapped
  • powdered sugar

How To Make peanut blossoms

  • 1
    Blend peanut butter and shortening in large mixer bowl. Add 1/3 cup sugar and the brown sugar; cream until light and fluffy. Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Blend well.

    Shape dough into 1 inch balls; roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven; immediately place unwrapped kiss on top of each cookie, pressing down so that cookie cracks around edge. Remove from cookie sheet; cool on wire rack.
