Ingredients For lemon cream cheese cookies

    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 pkg
    3 ounce cream cheese, softened
  • 1
    egg
  • grated peel and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 c
    flaked coconut, toasted

How To Make lemon cream cheese cookies

    Preheat oven to 350. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl. Beat sugar, butter, cream cheese, and egg in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until light and fluffy. Add lemon peel and juice; beat until well blended.

    Stir in flour mixture and coconut; mix well. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes or until set. Cool on cookie sheets 4 minutes. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
