Ingredients For peanut butter cookies-best ever

  • 3/4 c
    peanut butter, creamy (i use jif or kroger's)
  • 1/2 c
    butter flavor crisco
  • 1 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 3/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt

How To Make peanut butter cookies-best ever

    Heat oven to 375^. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed with your electric mixer until well blended. Add egg. Beat just until blended.

    Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended.

    Drop by rounded measuring Tablespoon of dough 2 inches apart onto a lightly greased baking sheet.

    Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern with the tines of a fork. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown.

    Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing to rack or paper to cool completely.
