1Preheat oven to 350* F. Grease 2 baking sheets or large baking pans with rims.

2Pour the milk in a small bowl and add the raisins to plump them a little. Measure all the remaining ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Add the milk and mix well.

3Either spread the dough in a large baking tin; patting it smooth with lightly floured hands, or drop it by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes.
