White fluffy cookies, with a hint of almond and chunks of milk chocolate. This cookie has become a Christmas time tradition at our house. The cookies are delightful the day they are baked, but the almond flavoring becomes more pronounced a day or two later.

How To Make chocolate parfait cookies

  • 1
Preheat oven to 370 degrees. Cream sugar, butter, salt and soda. Add eggs one at a time, beating 1 minute between each egg. Add flour 1 cup at a time, adding a portion of the milk after each cup and stirring in well between each cup. Add vanilla extract and almond extract. Add chocolate and mix into dough. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. (I like to line the cookie sheet with parchment paper.)
  • 2
Bake at 370 degrees for 10 - 11 minutes until just the slightest hint of brown begins to appear on the tops of the cookie. Do not overbake. Do not grease cookie sheet.
