Candied Fruit Christmas Cookies

- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup chopped pecsns or walnuts
- 1 cup candied cherries, chopped
- 4 slices candied pineapple, red and green, chopped
1Cream butter, and sugar until fluffy. Stir in beaten eggs. Mix well.
2Sift flour and soda together - add to butter and sugar mixture.
3Mix candied fruit and nuts with 1/4 cup of flour and add to the mixture. Mix well.
4Drop by teaspoons full on a greased cooking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes. Do not overcook or fruit will become hard.
