baking powder
1 tsp
vanilla
1 1/2 tsp

all purpose flour
2 large

milk
1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
maple extract

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Preheat oven to 350*

In a large bowl mix and cream together the sugars and the shortening. If you don' t have butter flavored shortening, you can add butter flavored extract. I recommend Crisco.

Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each egg
4
add baking powder, salt, vanilla and cinnamon
5
Add flour a little at a time mixing well. Batter will be really thick kinda like dough
6
fold in apples and walnuts
7
spread into greased 8x11 baking dish
8
Bake for approx. 25-30 mins until golden on top and it no longer looks wet.
9
while blondies are baking, mix up the glaze. It should have the consistency of pancake batter.
10
after blondies are done baking remove them from the oven , wait about 5 minutes then drizzle glaze over the blondies. Let cool about 15 mins, then cut and serve :)
