unsalted, sweet butter (2 cubes)
all purpose flour
finely ground almonds (approx. 10 oz.)
In a large bowl, work together the butter and flour with your hands.
Add remaining ingredients and work together until very smooth; let stand 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 275º - 300º
Take a piece of dough the size of a walnut. Roll into a ball and then squeeze it into a crescent shape.
Put cookies on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes. Note: cookies will be VERY LIGHTLY brown in color. Do not let get too brown!
