Ingredients

1-1/3 c
light brown sugar, packed
1/2 c
vegetable oil
1/4 c
light sour cream
1
egg
1 tsp
vanilla
1-3/4 c
all-purpose flour
3/4 c
unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp
instant coffee granules
1 tsp
baking soda
1/43 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper
1/2 c
powdered sugar

Step-By-Step

1Beat brown sugar and oil in large bowl with electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.
Add sour cream, egg, and vanilla; beat until well blended.

2Combine flour, cocoa, coffee granules, baking soda, salt and pepper in medium bowl; mix well.
Beat into brown sugar mixture until well blended.

3Cover and refrigerate 3-4 hours.

4Preheat over to 350.
Place powdered sugar in shallow bowl.
Shape dough into 1" balls, roll in powdered sugar.
Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets.

5Bake 10-12 minutes or until tops of cookies are firm.
Do not overbake.
Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
