I made this for a Christmas Party and everyone raved about how wonderful it was! It's so smooth and creamy.

Ingredients

1 pkg
(5 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate, melted
2
egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/4 c
heavy cream
1 tsp
vanilla extract
3
egg whites
1/4 c
granulated sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave oven. Remove from heat.

Combine egg yolks and cream and gradually add chocolate, stirring rapidly. Add vanilla and mix well.

Beat egg whites with sugar until soft peaks form. Gently fold egg whites into chocolate mixture.

Spoon mousse into decorative mold or individual dessert cups. Chill at least 2 hours.
