sticky chex nests

I use to make this sweet snack every Easter for my niece & nephew when they where small. It was a Easter treat they use to enjoy helping me make. As I was going thru my hand written recipes books, I came across this recipe & thought this would be a perfect time to share it with Easter a week away.

Ingredients For sticky chex nests

  • 1/4 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 3 c
    coconut marshmallows
  • 5 c
    chex mix, sweet & salty snack mix
  • 36
    jelly beans

How To Make sticky chex nests

    Spray regular muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • 2
    In large microwaveable bowl, microwave the marshmallows & butter on high uncovered for about 1 minute. Stir once & microwave again for 30 seconds again. Stir until smooth.

    Slowly stir in the snack pack mix into mutter mix. Until fully coated.

    Divide the mixture evenly among the cups to form the little nest like shapes. Press the mixture along the bottom & up the sides. Let stand for about 1 hour.

    Then remove the little nest form the cups. Place 3 jelly Beans in each nest & serve
