I found this recipe many years ago. Not sure where. It is very good! You know, how chocolate and peanut butter, go together so well! Cut smaller, if you like, for bite size pieces. Any chill time, is not included in prep time.

Ingredients For sharon's chocolate peanut butter fudge

  • chill time, is not included in prep time
  • butter for greasing pans
  • 2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    chunky-style peanut butter
  • 1/2 jar
    of a pint of marshmallow creme or 1 (7 oz.) jar
  • 1 pkg
    (6 oz.) or 1/2 of (12 oz.) package semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make sharon's chocolate peanut butter fudge

    Butter a 8 x 8 x 2 inch baking pan; set aside. Butter sides of a heavy 2 quart saucepan. In it, combine sugar and milk. Stir over medium heat, until sugar dissolves and mixture boils. Cook to soft ball stage (234°F).

    Remove from heat; quickly add marshmallow crème, peanut butter, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract; blend. Pour into prepared square pan. Score; cut when firm. May have to refrigerate to get really firm. Cut smaller, if you would like bite size pieces.
