Ingredients For easy chewy taffy

1bag 14 ounces light caramels, unwrapped

3/4 cmarshmallow creme

1/2 c5.5 ounce can chocolate flavored syrup

2 Tbspbutter
How To Make easy chewy taffy

1Butter 8 inch square pan; set aside. Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to 234F (soft ball stage) or until syrup, when dropped into very cold water, forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from water.

2Pour into prepared pan. Cool to room temperature. Cover; chill 1 hour or until firm. Cut into 1 inch squares; wrap individually in plastic wrap or wax paper. Store in cool, dry place.
