Ingredients For easy chewy taffy

    bag 14 ounces light caramels, unwrapped
  • 3/4 c
    marshmallow creme
  • 1/2 c
    5.5 ounce can chocolate flavored syrup
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make easy chewy taffy

    Butter 8 inch square pan; set aside. Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, to 234F (soft ball stage) or until syrup, when dropped into very cold water, forms a soft ball that flattens when removed from water.

    Pour into prepared pan. Cool to room temperature. Cover; chill 1 hour or until firm. Cut into 1 inch squares; wrap individually in plastic wrap or wax paper. Store in cool, dry place.
