I got this recipe from a woman at church a long time ago . It is one of my holiday desserts for family and church gatherings.

Ingredients

1 pkg
yellow cake mix
1 large
egg
8 Tbsp
butter, room temperature
1 pkg
cream cheese softened
1 can(s)
pumpkin
3 large
eggs
8 Tbsp
butter melted
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 tsp
maple extract
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
nutmeg
1 pkg
(16 oz) powered sugar

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven 350 F. Lightly grease an 9x13 baking dish.

2Combine cake mix, butter, and egg. Mix until a soft dough forms. Press into the bottom of dish.

3In a mixing bowl beat together cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth.
Add eggs, vanilla, and maple extract.

4Mix in powered sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. When all combined spread over cake mixture.

5Bake for 30-40 minutes. Do not over bake. Center should be alittle gooey.
Serve with whipped cream.
