I made this cake for a family get-together today. I received so many compliments on it. It is one of the easiest recipes I've ever made.

Ingredients

CAKE

2 c
flour
2 c
sugar
1 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
vanilla extract
20 oz. can(s)
crushed pineapple with juice
chopped nuts (optional)

FROSTING

8 oz
cream cheese (softened)
1 stick
butter, not margarine
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2-4 c
powdered sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all cake ingredients together well and pour into a sprayed 9x13 baking dish. Bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes (until golden brown).

Beat frosting ingredients until smooth and creamy. Spread on cake while it is still hot. Sprinkle with nuts if desired.
