I love making this, My father loves this cake, if you want to make it diabetic, substitute the brown sugar sugar free brown sugar.

Ingredients

1 c
crisco shortening
2 c
light brown sugar
4 kg
eggs
2 tsp
vanilla flavoring
5 c
flour
1 1/2 tsp
cinnamon

ICING FOR CAKE

1 jar(s)
(28oz) apple butter
1 jar(s)
(28oz) apple sauce

Step-By-Step

1By hand mix the crisco,brown sugar, eggs,& flavoring
together,Then gradually add the flour & cinnamon. Store in the
refrigerator until well chilledover night then devide dough in 6
portions..

2I use pam cooking oil for baking. Spray pam in your cake pan take
& press your one portion in the pan cook 12 to 15 mins on 350.
After your 6 layers are done

3( Icing)
Empty your apple butter & apple sauce in a pot and heat until it
begins to boil also add 2 tsp cinnamon. place your 1 st layer In
cake plate spread mixture ,then add another layer ,then spread your
apple butter mixture repeat each layer until you have all 6 layers
iced
