I don't know who "Kathy" is, but her cake recipe makes a hit with my family! This recipe was in a collection of recipes sponsored by the League of Women Voters in Orange County in the mid-1970's. It is so moist that no frosting is needed. A chocoholic's dream! I have used various chocolate cake mixes and usually mix in semisweet chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate chips.
In a large mixing bowl combine the cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream and eggs.
In a separate bowl combine the salad oil, warm water and chips.
Add salad oil, water and chips to cake mixture and blend well. Pour into a greased large bundt pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Be careful to not overbake! This cake will be very moist inside.
