this glaze completes my famous rum cake . i did post it before but somebody told me they couldnt find it . i looked for it too and i dont know what happened to it cause it's not there anymore so i am posting it again .

Ingredients For glaze for rum cake

  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    rum
  • 1/4 c
    water

How To Make glaze for rum cake

  • 1
    in a small saucepan or butter pan , melt butter.

    add the rum and water . stir. little bit at a time add sugar and keep stirring until it boils .

    pour over immediately on hot cake after punching holes in cake . that's it . easy and fast
