1 3/4 call purpose flour

1 3/4 csugar

3/4 cunsweetened cocoa

1 1/2 tspbaking soda

2/3 cbutter, softened

1 1/2 csour cream

2eggs

1 tspvanilla

vanilla buttercream frosting (below)

1/2 ptblueberries

2 ptstrawberries
How To Make fourth of july flag cake

1Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in large mixer bowl; blend in butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla on low speed. Beat 3 minutes on medium speed.

2Pour into greased and floured 13x9 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely. Place cake on oblong serving tray or aluminum foil covered cardboard.

3Prepare Vanilla Buttercream Frosting: Combine 3 cups powdered sugar and 1/3 cup softened butter in small mixer bowl. Add 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla and 2-3 tablespoons milk; beat to spreading consistency. Frost cake. Arrange blueberries in upper left corner of cake, creating a 4x5 inch rectangle. Arrange strawberries in roes for red stripes.
