Easy Hawaiian Cake

This is an easy to make, moist, delicious cake with a tropical flavor. Take it to the next level by frosting it with a cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients

1 box
(18 ounce) banana or yellow cake mix
1 can(s)
(8 ounce) crushed pineapple, drained and juice reserved
1 pkg
(3 ounce) instant vanilla or banana pudding

eggs
1/2 c
oil
1/2 c
chopped nuts
1/2 c
sliced ripe bananas

Directions Step-By-Step

Add water to reserved pineapple juice to make 1 cup.

Combine cake mix, pudding mix, pineapple, and the cup of pineapple liquid, eggs and oil.
Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Stir in bananas and nuts.

Pour into two 9 inch layer cake pans which have been greased and floured.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes and take layers out of pans and cool on wire rack completely.

Frost with a cream cheese icing.
