I made some small changes to this recipe, that I found on a loose page that fell out of a cookbook my mom bought me at an estate sale. Well, let me tell you, IT'S AWESOME! My family loves it. So moist and not over powering of chocolate. The frosting is absolutely perfect for this cake. I added some Kahlua to mine. Just wonderful! I added the addition of the chocolate syrup as well...it compliments the frosting wonderfully! If you're not a coffee fan, just add milk to the frosting.

I hope you try it sometime...I'm very happy I found this recipe. It will be made over and over.
