Ingredients

1 pkg
(18 ounce) dark chocolate cake mix
1 pkg
(3 ounce) instant chocolate pudding
1
(16 ounce container sour cream
3
eggs
1/3 c
oil
1/2 c
chocolate syrup
1 1/2 c
miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Step-By-Step

1In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, sour cream, eggs, oil and chocolate syrup.
Beat until ingredients are well blended.
Fold in chocolate chips. Batter will be thick.
2Spoon into 2 greased and floured 9 inch layer cake pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
3Cool 10 minutes in pan; then turn out and cool completely on wire rack.
4Frost with your favorite chocolate frosting.
