Ingredients

1/2 c
butter, softened
1 c
sugar

eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 c
all-purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 c
(8 oz) sour cream
1 c
semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1 tsp
ground cinnamon

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
In a large bowl, cream butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Add to the creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beating well after each addition.

Spread half the batter in baking pan.
Sprinkle with the chocolate chips.
Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon- sprinkle over chips.
Spread remaining batter on top.

Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack, and cut into squares.
