Ingredients

1 c
sugar
1 1/2 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1 1/4 c
crisco (melted)
2
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
floured berries

Directions Step-By-Step

Use paper liners for a 12 cup cupcake pan.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
Bake 15-20 minutes ( mine took 17 minutes) don't over bake them.

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt 3 times.

Melt Shortening in a glass measuring cup. (Can use Crisco oil.)

Then add 2 unbeaten eggs, then fill cup with milk.

Add liquid to sifted flour mixture and add vanilla extract.
Beat thoroughly then fold in berries.
Bake in paper cups in the 12 cupcake pan.
Can sprinkle a little sugar on top of each one before baking to give them a little crunch on top. (I Did)
