Ingredients

2 stick
butter, softened
2 c
sugar
4
eggs
1/2 tsp
vanilla
2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
2 tsp
baking soda
2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp
salt
3 c
apples, peeled and finely chopped
1 c
chopped walnuts or pecans

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2Grease and flour a tube pan or large bunt pan
3In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
4In another bowl mix flour, baking soda, spices and salt together thoroughly.
5Combine wet and dry ingredients. Bake for 45 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes then turn onto a wire wrack to complete cooling process.
