Apple Tea Cake
My grandma made this for us when I was a kid..
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and beat well, add flour and milk gradually blending all carefully. Peel and slice apple thinly.
Place mixture into a cake tin then arrange apples on top.
Cook for about 40 mins or until skewer comes out clean in a 180c degrees oven. Remove from tin while hot butter the top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.I use Demerara sugar
