Ingredients
| 2 c | whole wheat flour |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| 1 tsp | baking powder |
| 1/2 tsp | each: salt, cinnamon, nutmeg |
| 1/4 tsp | ground ginger |
| 1 c | dark brown sugar |
| 1 c | canned pumpkin (not pie mix) |
| 1/2 c | canola or other salad oil |
| 1 tsp | vanilla extract |
| 1 c | raisins |
| 1 c | chopped nuts, such as walnuts or pecans |

Directions
Mix soda, baking powder, salt and spices with flour. Combine sugar, pumpkin, oil and vanilla. Stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in raisins and nuts until evenly mixedDrop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 12 to 15 minutes.
