2 stickbutter or margarine

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cwhite sugar

2eggs

1 tspvanilla extract

1 1/2 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspsalt-optional

3 coats, quick cooking

1 craisins
How To Make vanishing oatmeal raisin cookies

1Heat oven to 350. Beat together margarine,brown and white sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Combine in separate bowl flour,soda,cinnamon and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet. Stir in raisins and oats-mix well.

2Drop by rounded tablespoons on to ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute then remove to wire rack.

3TIP-greasing the cookie sheet will cause cookies to spread and bottoms to brown too quickly.
