These sweet little babies are so good. I make these for my daughter at Valentine's Day parties. DO NOT DOUBLE RECIPE. NOTE: In one picture I added cocoa powder to the tops and omitted the choco pieces in the recipe.

Ingredients For valentine meringues

  • 3
    egg whites
  • 3 1/2 Tbsp
    raspberry Jell-o (dry)
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • tsp
    dash of salt
  • 1 tsp
    vinegar
  • 6 oz
    chocolate chips

How To Make valentine meringues

  • Slowly adding Jell-o to the whisked egg whites.

    Beat egg whites gradually adding Jell-o and sugar until they are stiff and glossy.
  • Folding in salt.

    Fold in vinegar and salt; beat well.
  • Folding in chocolate chips.

    Add chips.
  • Meringue balls placed on a baking sheet.

    Drop by teaspoons on a baking sheet (ungreased).
  • Meringues baking in the oven.

    Bake in a low oven (250 degrees) for 40-50 minutes.
