Strawberries & Cream Oreo Truffles

Niki Stutts

Super cheap and Easy and taste just like a chocolate covered strawberry.

pinch tips: Parchment Paper Vs Wax Paper

Varies, depending on how many you want to make.

15 Min

1 pkg
oreo cookies
1 pkg
cream cheese
1 pkg
chocolate bark
candy sprinkles

Directions Step-By-Step

Using a food processor {or rolling pin and quart sized baggie}, pulverize the cookies until they are medium to fine crumbs. {the smaller the pieces, the easier it is to work with}
Add the crumbs to a large bowl with the softened cream cheese and mix well.
Roll the mix between your hands, into small balls and place on a piece of wax paper.
Place the balls into the fridge to chill for at least an hour. {Note: This step is not optional, the balls will melt as soon as you put them in the chocolate if you don't chill them well first. I learned this the hard way. I am very impatient.}
Using your microwave, melt the chocolate bark, in a large bowl according to the package directions. {Add food coloring if you want}
Using a spoon, roll the well chilled Oreo balls into the melted chocolate bark until it's well covered and place onto a piece of waxed paper. Obviously, do this with all the balls.
