April's Story

I love butterscoth. so if we can do it lower sugar and fat hey whatelse can you ask for.

Ingredients

2 1/4 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
salt
1 c
butter or margarine softened
3/4 c
splenda brown sugar blend packed
1 Tbsp
vanilla extract
2 large
eggs
1
11 ounce package of butterscotch chips
1/2 c
chopped pecans or walnuts.

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour,baking powder and salt in medium bowl. Set aside,

Combine butter splenda brown sugar and vanilla, in a large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy,. Beat in eggs gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in 1 cup morsels and nuts.

Spread into a ungreased 13by9 baking pan, sprinkle with remaining 2/3 cup butterscotch chips, Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until when toothpicked inserted in center of brownies comes out clean.

My sunday school class loved them. The preacher even asked for the recipe. making them again at Thanksgiving!

just made these and they are delicious! Awesome with Edy's sugar free vanilla ice cream! Taking them to Sunday school will report their feedback
