EVERY TIME I MAKE THESE COOKIES THEY VANISH IN NO TIME...NOT TOO SWEET EVEN WITH GLAZE ...PERFECT WITH A TALL GLASS OF MILK OR A STEAMING CUP OF JAVA ...I HAD LEFTOVER GLAZE SO SOME PRETZELS WENT A DIPPN :)

milk (to achieve a thick spreadable consistancy)

Directions Step-By-Step

IN LARGE MIXING BOWL CREAM BROWN SUGAR WITH ROOM TEMP. BUTTER. ADD THE EGG, PANCAKE SYRUP N MAPLE EXTRACT. IN A SEPARATE BOWL SIFT TOGETHER FLOUR, SALT N BAKN SODA. MIX INTO BUTTER MIXTURE UNTIL WELL BLENDD N REFRIGERATE FOR 30 MINUTES.

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350. ON CLEAN SURFACE SPRINKLE CONFECTIONS SUGAR N REMOVE TWO CUPS OF DOUGH AT A TIME FROM FRIDGE N FLATTEN OUT N CUT TO DESIRED SHAPES. PLACE COOKIES ONTO PARCHMENT LINED COOKIE SHEETS.

BAKE 10-15 MINUTES OR UNTIL EDGES R SLIGHTLY BROWND. COOL N REMOVE FROM PAN TO THOROUGHLY COOL.

NOW FOR THE GLAZE...IN A MED SIZD BOWL MIX TOGETHER 3 CUPS OF CONFECTIONERS SUGAR, MILK N MAPLE EXTRACT...KEEP ON STIRRING IT WILL BCOME SMOOTH (U MITE NEED TO ADD MORE MILK OR MORE CONF SUGAR TO GET RITE CONSISTANCY...ADD 1 TSP. OF MILK AT A TIME)
