Ingredients

1 1/2 c
flour
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
cream of tartar
1 c
sugar
1/2 c
butter, softened
1 tsp
vanilla
1
egg
1/4 c
sugar
2 tsp
cinnamon

Step-By-Step

1Combine 1 cup sugar and butter and beat until well blended.
2Add the egg and vanilla; mix well.
3Add flour, baking soda and cream of tartar. Blend until combined.
4Cover and chill 10 minutes.
5Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
6Combine 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
7Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
8Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in cinnamon sugar. Place on cookie sheet.
9Flatten balls with bottom of a glass. If glass becomes too sticky dip in cinnamon sugar first.
10Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet.
11Enjoy!!
