I love my Bath Tub Santa,
and these cookies.!
They are very simular to a Russian Tea Cake or a Mexican Wedding Cookie.
My recipe uses whole wheat flour, and almond flavoring.
This gives them an wonderful different taste.
Maybe the use of anise extract would an be a nice flavor change also.
I am sure Santa would approve.
When you wind santa up ,his arm goes up and down, like he is scrubbing himself!...LOL

I think there is a little bit more flavor with the old time oats.THey are not ground up like the instant oats are.

Make balls of dough about 1 inch round and place on a ungreased cookie sheet.

..for about 20 minutes.
3
While warm ...roll in powdered sugar.
Put cookies on a rack to cool.
Then roll again in powdered sugar .
Makes about 3 dozen.
Enjoy....I know SANTA does!
His cookie plate is always empty!!
