I LOVE THE RECIPES I'VE FOUND ON JUST-A-PINCH. I MUST GIVE CREDIT TO TWO LADIES WHO'S RECIPES I COMBINED TO CREATE THIS RECIPE:
Amanda Coon who's recipe for her "Reese's Peanut Butter Cookies" has become a favorite.
And to Mrs. D (Sugar Grace) who's recipe for "Homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Cups", is another favorite that people ask me for time and time again.

I've made this recipe twice and now have to share the recipe with others.

SECOND LAYER (REESE PEANUT BUTTER FILLING)

1 c
butter (melted)
2 c
graham crackers, crushed
2 c
confectioners' sugar (sifted)
1 c
peanut butter (crunchy or creamy)

TOP LAYER (CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER)

12 oz
1 12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c
peanut butter

Directions Step-By-Step

COOKIE( FIRST LAYER) PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 USING A 13X9 PAN LINED WITH PARCHMENT OR ALUMINUM FOIL OVER THE EDGES FOR EASY LIFTING AND CLEANING

SIFT & BLEND ALL DRY INGREDIENTS, SET ASIDE.
IN A SEPARATE BOWL (USING A MIXER), MIX SUGARS, BUTTER, EGG & VANILLA UNTIL LIGHT AND FLUFFY

SLOWLY ADD DRY INGREDIENTS UNTIL WELL BLENDED AND THE CONSISTENCY OF COOKIE DOUGH. FOLD IN CHOPPED PEANUT BUTTER CUPS
SPREAD EVENLY IN LINED PAN TO EDGES.
BAKE 15-20 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN BEING CAREFULL TO CHECK EDGES

SECOND LAYER (REESES PEANUT BUTTER CUP FILLING)
MIX BUTTER & GRAHAM CRACKERS FIRST, THEN ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS FOR THE FILLING UNTIL WELL BLENDED AND CREAMY.

SPREAD FILLING ON TOP OF COOLED COOKIE COVERING ENTIRE TOP OF COOKIE BAR

TOP LAYER (CHOCOLATE & PEANUT BUTTER)
MELT CHOCOLATE CHIPS IN MICROWAVE SAFE BOWL IN 30 SECOND INTERVALS, STIRRING EACH TIME, UNTIL MELTED. ADD PEANUT BUTTER, MIX UNTIL BLENDED, SPREAD ON COOKIE BAR.

LET COOKIE BAR COOL COMPLETELY BEFORE CUTTING INTO SQUARES. CAN BE REFRIDGERATED FOR AN HOUR OR SO. DEPENDING ON HOW THEY ARE CUT, IT CAN YIELD SEVERAL DOZEN.
