Ingredients For quaker oats vanishing oatmeal cookies

  • BEAT TOGETHER
  • 2 stick
    salted butter, softened
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup c
    granulated sugar
  • ADD
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • COMBINE & ADD
  • 1 1/2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • STIR IN
  • 3 c
    quaker oats (quick)
  • 3/4 c
    coconut or raisins (optional)

How To Make quaker oats vanishing oatmeal cookies

    Preheat oven to 350. Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda, salt; mix well. Slowly stir in oats and optional coconut/raisins.

    Drop by rounded tablespoon onto parchment lined cookie sheet. ( I use small melon scoop). Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minuted on sheet, remove to wire rack.
