These were handed down from my grandmother to my mother and then, to me. I make them every Autumn and while my kids would prefer something from the candy jar, these remain a yummy cookie for the grown-ups.

I couldn't wait to try this cookie as soon as it came out of the oven. The Test Kitchen aroma was awesome while baking. All the great tastes of fall are in this cookie. And they're easy to make - a great recipe for the family to make together.

Ingredients

1 c
canned pumpkin pie mix
1 c
sugar
1/2 c
canola oil
1
egg
2 c
flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1 c
semi-sweet chocolate chunks
1 tsp
baking soda disolved in 1 tsp. milk
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 tsp
vanilla
1/2 tsp
salt

Step-By-Step

1Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.

2Drop cookies onto lightly greased cookie sheet.

3Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.
