This is a must have around the holidays. Every year my family looks forward to my pumpkin chocolate chip. My 4 year old just told me that the last time I made them "you are the best mommy for making my favorite cookies"

Ingredients

2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
3/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 pinch
nutmeg
1 c
chocolate chips
1/2 c
butter room temp
1 c
sugar
1/2 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1
egg
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
pumpkin puree

Step-By-Step

1Set oven for 350 degrees
2Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in bowl. Set bowl aside.
3In new bowl mis butter with both sugars (brown and white)
4beat in egg, vanilla, and pumpkin puree to butter and sugar mix.
5slowly hand mix in bowl of dry ingredients.
6add in chocolate chips
7Place teaspoon size batter onto cookie sheet and back for 12-14 min.
