Ingredients For pecan pie chunky cookies

1 1/2 call purpose flour

1/2 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt
-
1 cdark brown sugar, packed

1/2 cbutter, unsalted, chilled, cut up

1 lgegg
-
2 Tbsppure maple syrup
-
1 Tbspdark corn syrup
-
1 Tbspmild molasses
-
1 Tbspmaple extract
-
4 cpecans, halved, toasted

1 csweetened coconut, shredded
How To Make pecan pie chunky cookies

1Whisk flour, soda & salt in a medium bowl.

2Beat sugar & butter in a large bowl at medium speed 3 minutes or until light & fluffy. Beat in egg, maple syrup, corn syrup, molasses & maple extract until blended. At low speed, beat in flour mixture just until combined. Stir in pecans & coconut. Cover & refrigerate 2 - 3 hours or overnight, until firm enough to shape.

3Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

4Drop scant 3 Tbsp dough per cookie onto parchment paper lined baking sheets; gently form into balls. Freeze dough on baking sheets 10 minutes or until firm.

5Bake 12 - 14 minutes or until edges are pale brown. Cool on baking sheet on wire rack 3 minutes. Place cookies on rack; cool completely & enjoy!
