Ingredients

CRUST
2 c all purpose flour
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
2 stick margarine (melted)
FILLING
1/2 c syrup (your favorite)
1/4 c honey
3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
1/3 c all purpose flour
1/3 c powdered sugar
3 Tbsp margarine (melted)
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 c chopped pecans

If you Love pecan pie, you'll like these. I found this in a cookbook that was put together by someone I went to High School with. I tweeked the cooking time a little. But all in all they turned out really good.

CRUST: Butter (I used bakers joy)a 9x13 baking dish. Combine the ingredients for crust and press into baking dish.

FILLING: Combine all ingredients for the filling and pour on top of the unbaked crust. cover with aluminum foil & bake 30-35 min at 375 degrees. (I took the foil off for the last 5 minutes or so.) Let cool completely for the filling to set.

Is that maple syrup?

No ma'am. It's actually any syrup that you prefer. I think I used just a regular buttery flavored pancake syrup. Maple would probably be awesome in it tho.

In normal pecan pie recipes, you use Karo syrup. That would work, wouldn't it?
