Ingredients
| 1/2 c | creamy peanut butter |
| 1/4 c | butter, softened |
| 1 c | brown sugar |
| 1 Tbsp | lemon juice |
| 1/3 c | milk |
| 3/4 c | flour |
| 1/2 c | chopped peanuts |
| 1/8 tsp | baking soda |
| 1/2 tsp | baking powder |
| 6 oz | milk chocolate chips |
| 1/2 c | finely chopped peanuts |

Directions
Cream peanut butter, butter and sugar mix in lemon juice. Add milk, stir in flour, soda, baking powder and nuts.Spread evenly in 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 350 degree for about 30 min. Note: If you want them thicker, use an 8x8 square pan.Sprinkle with milk chocolate chips and finely chopped peanuts. Cut in squares. Store in air tight container

Pattie, you did not mention the milk chocolate chips until #3 item in the directions. Can you tell me - do you spread them upon the warm dough and wait until after they melt? Do you then sprinkle the chopped peanuts onto the melted chocolate before it sets up? I can see how well they will be received with the Christmas Cookie bake off in preperation for Gift Trays. Thanks for posting for JAP. LOL :-)

Well I need to work on this recipe it was my Grandma's and when making this with her I had to watch. But on the chocolate chips I just use enough to make a thin covering so not more than a 6 oz. bag after baking spread them and after they melt spread it out then sprinkle the finely chopped nuts. I hope that helps and will update the recipe
