shortening or butter
brown sugar, firmly packed
all purpose flour
1Cream together sugars, shortening and peanut butter.
Add the eggs
2Mix flour, salt, baking soda and oats. Add to creamed mixture.
3Form balls with about 1/2 tablespoonful dough. Roll in white sugar. Place on baking sheet and flatten each with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
4Bake at 350 approximately 12 minutes.
