This recipe belongs to my dearly departed pop-pop my aunt gave it to me in a special book that she made for me when i got married i have had this yummy cookies before so i have decided to share it with you .. enjoy!

1 cbrown sugar

1 cshortening
-
1 cpeanut butter

3eggs

1 1/2 cflour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

1 tspvanilla

2 cquick oats

1 cchocolate chips or raisins
How To Make oatmeal peanut butter cookies

1cream suagrs and shortening . add eggs and peanut butter and beat well

2gradually add flour, salt and baking soda . add vanilla . stire in quick oats and chocolate chips or raisins

3drop heaping teaspoons onto a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 mins ... enjoy!
